RCE Capital Berhad donates medical equipment worth RM97,000 for ICU Ward to Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah, Klang.
Our sole financier, RCE Capital Berhad (“RCE”) has donated medical equipment to Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah (“HTAR”), in support of public healthcare system to treating critical COVID-19 patients in the intensive care unit (“ICU”) Ward due to severe shortage of medical equipment.
The medical equipment worth RM97,000 are two sets of Philips IntelliVue MX550 Monitor. Each set includes peripherals of a multi measurement module, reusable finger sensor, non-invasive blood pressure interconnecting tubing cables, lead electrocardiogram trunk cables and lead wires, as well as reusable cuffs for paediatrics, children and adults.
HTAR is a government hospital in Klang established since April 1985, which provides primary and selected tertiary healthcare services. The hospital is equipped with medical facilities of over a thousand of inpatient beds and 20 clinical disciplines.
RCE has embarked on various corporate social responsibility programmes which focus on promoting health awareness over the years. In view of medical equipment scarcity due to rising COVID-19 cases, RCE is hopeful that the contribution could help to ease the burden of front liners who are battling against the pandemic relentlessly and COVID-19 patients.
