RCE Capital Berhad donates medical equipment worth RM100,000 for ICU Ward to Hospital Sungai Buloh, Selangor.
Our sole financier, RCE Capital Berhad (“RCE”) donates medical equipment to Hospital Sungai Buloh (“HSB”), in support of public healthcare system to treating critical COVID-19 patients in the intensive care unit (“ICU”) Ward arising from surging COVID-19 cases in our Country.
The medical equipment worth RM100,000 consist of 288 sets of Fisher & Paykel heated breathing tube and complete chamber kit with adult nasal cannula. These medical equipment are essential in supporting the delivery of oxygen therapy to COVID-19 patients.
HSB is a government hospital in Selangor established since 1999, which provides secondary and tertiary healthcare services. The hospital is equipped with medical facilities of 620 inpatient beds and has been regarded as a centre of excellence for several types of illnesses treatment.
RCE has embarked on various corporate social responsibility programmes which focus on promoting health awareness over the years. On 22 July 2021, RCE also donated medical equipment worth RM97,000 for ICU Ward to Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah, Klang. RCE is hopeful that these contributions could help to relieve the burden of front liners who are battling against the pandemic relentlessly and COVID-19 patients.
